Welcome To The Eagles Rod and Custom Club of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Our club was formed in October 1960 in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, making it the second oldest hot Rod club in Victoria.
The club helped organise Drag Racing at Fishermen's Bend, and also the first Victorian Hot Rod and Custom Show at the Royal Exhibition Buildings in Carlton (where it is still held to this day).
Since then the Eagles have held many Hot Rod Shows in Geelong, Ballarat, Werribee, and Dandenong. Currently we run "Show and Shine Days" where we and many other car enthusiasts are proud to polish up our vehicles for the public to enjoy.
As our Motto is "SAFETY BEFORE SPEED, AS LIFE IS SO PRECIOUS", we hold regular safety checks on all our club vehicles, regardless of whether they are adventorous interstate rod runners or only used as local cruisers.
Meetings are held on the second Monday evening of each month at 7.30pm at our clubrooms in Heatherton Vic.
Although membership is currently full, enquiries are always welcome from those who are either building a rod or custom, or currently own one.
